Dr. Badawi saved my life. I had my 2nd miscarriage and was not getting the health care i deserved, and got an infection. I was on the verge of sepsis and could have died because another dr wouldnt refer me to him, but in an emergency in the hospital he works out of, i was immediately rushed to his care where he performed a D&C. He treated me with utmost care and urgency. He is very personable and knowledgable, and has helped me get through 39 weeks of my latest pregnancy, and i adore him as a medical professional!! I owe him my life and my daughters' life!!

Dr. Badawi is the only practicing OBGYN in Wetaskiwin, so his clinic is always very busy. He's on call 24/7, so your looking at a good hour wait in the clinic. I knew this before my appointments, so it didn't bother me in the least. Dr. Badawi was very personable, friendly and knowledgable. He took the time to talk to me, ask questions, and a few days later when I saw him again....he remembered the answers to the questions! Which actually amazed me, concidering some days he will see up to 60 women!! I look forward to future appointments and one day having him deliver my children! My hope is that he will not become so over worked that he leaves Wetaskiwin, because Wetaskiwin needs him.

The short version, is that I had a horrible experience with this doctor and his nursing staff during the delivery of my son. Through 32 hours of labour i got the impression that we were a burden to him, as we were not his regular patients (our regular doctor was on holidays). He "had a clinic to run" and that was definetly of more importance to him. My doula was ready to call an ambulance while in the delivery room to get me some help. When my son was born finally (by C-section) it took the doctors so long to revive him, that he had to be air lifted to edmonton for further evaluation. I followed in an ambulance and i have never been so relieved to get out of a place. If I had left it in Badawi's hands i would have had a dead baby because he was too busy running his clinic and not answering his phone because he was out for lunch. When we got to the Grey Nuns in Edmonton we had NURSES and DOCTORS that did their jobs and actually cared. Wow! It was incredible to have nurses and doctors checking on you, helping, answering questions, being caring and showing some compassion.

During my pregnancy Dr. Badawi did an incredible job dealing with all my issues. He was always there to answer any question I had. Both Dr. Badawi and the staff in his office were extremely friendly and helpful.
