I was sent to Dr. Spivak by my insurance company for an assessment. I was terrified based on reviews I read but I was very relieved to discover he is actually a great guy. He's very quick to put you at ease and he is very down to earth. His diagnosis was consistent with that of my family physician and his recommendations made sense. I was very pleased to have met him and would have liked to have him as my regular Dr.

Despite repeated messages and requests for contact and information, and a signed Consent Form, this person did not return our calls or provide any information so that we could make timely decisions. In addition, he referrs to the patient as 'annoying'. There doesn't seem to be a protocol in place in regards to treatment - it is up to the nurses to administer or withhold medication as they see fit. Utterly disrespectful and inconsiderate psychiatrist.

Other people on different websites have stated they were given the wrong diagnosis by Dr. Spivak. He did the same with me. What he’s doing is dangerous. He wouldn’t tell me his diagnosis but I found out from my employer’s third-party health management company. If he thought I was suffering from a condition, shouldn’t I be told what it is? Coward. He was wrong anyway.

WOW. Dr Spivak was exceptional. He knew exactly what to do, from the diagnostic to the treatment, to the prescription drugs this guy was bang on. Friendly, professional easy going is who this doctor is. My husband went to see him and the meeting went exceptionally well. We both walked out feeling so much better. Way to go Dr Michell Spivak. You are the best. Thank you. I would highly recommend you to anyone who asks.
