This doctor has been the worst doctor I have ever experienced since my arrival in Canada I have seen this doctor since 2011 as I had allergies issues.This doctor is only on his laptop all day asking questions that is the way he operated, he does not care or try to understand the proper issue and he is quick at given medication without proper diagnostic as he should.The latest was my knee ligaments after being running a little too hard one day I went to see him (I was limping for 2 days) so I have done Xray and has no bones fracture and dislocation but I was still limping so he said to me you could take some medication to help and I said no I do not need medication but to see a specialist (like physiotherapy, orthopedic) and he said no and if am I unhappy I should change to see another doctor, I do not recommend this doctor for anybody, he is not caring and does know is job at all, today I have seen another doctor and she recommends me to see a physiotherapy and has to do a IRM as my ligaments inside my knee wont show on the Xray (This doctor was my first visit) she has diagnostics me quickly than this Dr. Minh Hien Nguyen has done for the past 4 years

Dr. Minh Nguyen from Metrohealth Clinic in Burnaby B.C. was my family doctor for a few years. Although he did give the western treatments, he was trying to push scientifically unproven eastern(Asian) treatments on me. He would get very angry when I would not go to the lectures that would teach a person how to slap themselves to bring out so called poisons in the body. When I last saw Dr. Nguyen on Nov. 24, 2014, he forced one of these treatments on me without my permission. He took a tongue depressor and scraped my knee with it. I was already in pain from an arthritis flair up and he said the scraping would draw out the poisons. All this doctor did was create more pain and bruising. He also refused proper pain medication, said it he would not give me any more despite chronic pain I have had for a few years. Because of Dr. Nguyen, I wound up in the hospital the next day(Nov. 25, 2014 and about 4 days later). I have taken a picture of the bruising and sent it in with a formal complaint to the Collage of Physicians. It is my belief that Dr. Nguyen should be questioned by his patients on medical treatment and not to trust him as a medical practitioner due to my experience with him over the last few years. His techniques are somewhat questionable, especially his anger at the patient when they do not agree with unproven eastern practices. This doctor seems to be ignorant and uncaring of the patients concerns
