I consider myself to be very lucky to have Dr. Lavoie as my surgeon. Dr. Lavoie operated on me 20 years ago that gave me back my life. With Spinal stenosis it is degenerative and now I need surgery again, (Lumbar Decompression Spinal Instrumentation and Fusion). Dr. Lavoie explained the procedure in depth with options. He is direct, concise, articulate and without arrogance. I am looking forward to surgery without trepidation and once again getting my life back. If you are looking for hand holding, sugar coating, unrealistic promises, you are barking up the wrong tree. Could not be happier with the pre-operation work done by Dr. Lavoie's office.

I have had a lot of expierence with Dr. Lavoie, He was very inconsiderate and rude. He preformed surgery on me and worked in the wrong area, 3 weeks after I had to have surgery to fix the right problem. He trid blaming me for the second injury when I didn't do anything but follow his orders and stay on bed rest. My first MRI indicated the problem in the area that he operated on the second time. The MRI showed nothing wrong with the area that he operated on the first time. I strongly recomend finding another surgine.

As a physician i was impressed wit Dr Lavoie’s treatment of my severely propsed disc that followed a fall in winter whilst carrying my child over ice. I had been to an orthopaedic surgeon one day beforewho misdiagnosed my injury so i paid privately for an MRI that confirmed the correct diagnosis. Within one hour he had arranged my admission to the ward followed by a surgical exploration and laminectomy and insertion of titanium plate. His ward care was exemplary and my back has never felt stronger. I highly recommend this experienced surgeon to you should you need spinal or any ither kind of orthopaedic surgery.
