Actually Dr. Groszman practiced in Montreal and helped establish the Mount Sinai hospital in Ste Agathe. He was Hungarian and many of his patients were from that country including many holocaust survivors like my parents. Dr. Groszman, or Mishi as our family called him was very kind to me growing up. I showed an interest in science as a youngster and he fostered it by doing literature searches for me for papers I wrote for univeristy in my BSc and MSc. Sadly I was in Philadelphia when he was diagnosed with liver cancer, and did not get to say goodbye to him. Thanks for your support Mishi, you are fondly remembered.

As my step Dad I witnessed how amazing a doctor he was on a daily and first hand basis. But more importantly he was even more impressive as a person. Thanks Dad! His passing has left a void for many and none more then myself. Till this day almost thirty years since he died I learn new stories, as on this site, about his kindness and dedication.
