I saw this Doctor in a Calgary emergency ward. I was in for severe back pain. I have a very strong pain tolerance and am not a frequent visitor of Emergency rooms or Doctors offices. After a brief look and quick prod of my back along with picking up eAch leg - I was informed that as there was only muscle and bone back there so if I didn't injure the bone it has to be a pulled muscle. I guess his training never covered nerves or discs??? Anyway, without any tests, I was dismissed like a small child. Very poor bedside manner and extremely unprofessional in not performing more tests and providing a more thorough exam.
