I found her rude, abrupt and she wasn't interested in answering any of my questions. She just prescribed me a medication I would have to take for the rest of my life without giving me any information about it. She insisted that it was my only option even though now having done more research about the medication I've discovered it is going to affect the other medication I'm taking and one of the common effects of the medication is going to exacerbate another mild condition I have.

SHE IS TERRIBLE! RUDE! CONDESCENDING! I am in the process of rating this woman on every doctor rating site I can find! Look her and her 278 REVIEWS up on ``rate MD`s``. My suspicion is that the 5 star ratings are ASTRO TURFEd (pretend comments created by people who are paid to write things to make something look more legitimate, and better than they actually are.) I have been at this office 2 times in 6 years and she was rude, condescending and unconcerned. The first time I asked her to remove a mole that wasn`t cancerous but had been hurting me and she said she would be glad to do it...for $200. The charge has now gone up to $400. Not a bad rate of return for a rude doctor who has no bedside manner and treats her clients like cattle. This time around, after waiting for 4 months for this appointment, from a referral from my doctor, I was told I could not discuss anything other than what my doctor had mentioned in his referral. If a patient is waiting 4 to 8 months for an appointment, and something comes up in between, it is Dr. Alam`s EXPECTATION that we go back to our doctor for any other issue that has come up, get ANOTHER referral, wait another 4 to 8 months, and then we are ALLOWED to talk to her about it. No common or financial sense to this process at all. She is not a Doctor, other than on paper, and I would advise ANYONE NOT TO USE HER SERVICES, especially if you are bringing in children!

I find her to be an amazing doctor, and to the person who commented below, yes I AM A REAL PERSON. Feel free to e-mail me and I'd be more than happy to describe the wonderful experience that I had with her. She treated me for the huge amounts of acne that I was having in and around my nose, cheeks. I found her service to be great actually.
