i brought my son into the ER, with very sore throat, slight fever. barley able to swallow or open his mouth, she was able to quickly recognise his symptoms and looked into his mouth toward his throat, she noticed that my son had developed a cyst growing on his tonsil. without hesitation called the specialist to come asap. as this cyst was a risk to my son. if it burst the infection would stick to his throat and he could choke. my son is only 12, the specialist gave him 2 options...remove cyst with freezing to drain or next day surgery to remove his tonsils. they both explained to my son what his options were, very clearly to him. he opted for the freezing. as this procedure is very painful, because the freezing only works 50% due theres infection. they both had extreme patience for my son. Dr Mary was fantastic. I would definity go see her again.
