The hysterectomy and Burch bladder repair was successful. When I asked her an unrelated question regarding returning to my previous weight after childbearing X 3. I had heard that it could be possible I would not go back to normal. She said that it was just an old wife's tale and that it was lack of exercise on my part. I was not impressed by her tone so left as the appointment was already finished anyway. She was a bit too abrupt for my liking and I felt embarrassed. This was in approximately 1989. I was a single parent at the time of surgery and had no adult or teen assistance and she told me to get my neighbors to help out as they had just started to do by providing my dinner for me without me asking for the help in this regard but was great to have done it. I was very appreciative. I was quite ill at the time and relied on a 13-14 year old and 8-9 year old to cook meals as I could not get out of bed and they also took care of the vomit in one pail and toileting in the second. I was upset with her as she showed absolutely no compassion nor did she care about my situation so declined to get me any care through the Access Centre of or their agencies. Her work is still intact today so no problems there. Someone had recommended me to her.., but I did not agree with their evaluation of her after the fact.

I would not recommend anyone to see this doctor, especially if you're young and having children. She is rude, has no manners and will tell you you're going to hell if you're not married. She's not thorough at all, and if you have questions going in to your appointment, be prepared to leave with no answers.
