a horror of a doctor who works in the palliative unit of the jewish general hospital. makes you feel as if you are wasting her very valauable time that is even when you can get her to speak to you. she should be treating horses not people after all they kill horses don't they? shows no compassion and treats the family members who truly love the patient with contempt and tells lies. also prescribes unnecessary medications to the patient fot example colace and laxitives when the patient has severe diarhea and anti psychotic drugs when not needed and continues with these drugs even though she has been told the reasons that they are unnecessary.IF YOU LOVE YOU LOVED ONE KEEP THEM AWAY FROM THIS PERSON

Dr. Gillman looked after my father during his final days. I have zero complaints about her conduct. On many occasions she went out of her way to do a "little extra" to make his final days as comfortable as possible. She always made sure I knew what was going on, answering my phone calls, and even taking extra time to talk to me about how I was doing. I think she is a very special type of doctor, both professional and compassionate. Quebec needs more people like her.

Dr. Gillman helped care for my mother in her final days. IMO - she was not only professional and high competent, but showed a high degree of compassion and humanity by taking the time to explain, to myself and my siblings, where we were in the process, what to expect, and asking for our opinions and preferences at every opportunity. Frankly, I don't know what problem the previous poster has, but the doctor she describes is nothing like the Dr. Gillman who played such a supportive role during our mother's final days

Horrible Doctor, her resident gave our father medication after a note had been put in his file saying he was not to be given it as it did not agree with him. Gilman signed off on this without first verifying the file. No compassion, rude and impolite. And no surprise but tried to cover up the mistake made by her and the resident. Upon further research, we found out she is a huge advocate for that type of medication. Don't have your loved one treated by her, you will regret it.

She has been inconsiderate to the patient's wants and needs . She is in a hurry to finalize the case and move to the next.
