Questionable behaviour. As a cardiologist, he told my senior mother to go to a clinic to have some blood work done and to have the results sent to him rather than issue the form himself to have this work done by a lab. Not only does this put extra strain on an ailing senior but it also imposes an additional, unnecessary cost on Alberta's universal health care system (seeing two medical pratitioners for the same thing).
