If he ever had a passion of helping people, it is gone. I have gone to his office a couple times, and every time he does not even consider any of my symptoms a concern and tells me it is all in my head. He made me feel very embarrassed and bad about myself. Constantly recommending I take antidepressants instead of simply writing me a referral to get a blood test. I asked him for a sheet to take to dina life to check my blood levels and he said NO. I had to ask 3 times. After I answered a few questions relating to my thyroid (which I am concerned about) he asked me if my period is abnormal. I told him if I am not taking birth control I get it 5 times a month. I constantly had my period. His reply was that I need psycho therapy. Don't see this doctor. He is incredibly unprofessional. Lost his passion for the well being of his patients.

Been with doctor Popke for 9 years or so. Excellent family physician. Always is thorough in his treatment. Great guy to get along with. His receptionist is a joy to talk to and everytime I go there for treatment I leave feeling that I've had the proper medical care I require on all fronts.
