She was my doctor several years ago. When I complained of stomach pains, she told me to eat more fibre and drink more water. Although I was 48 yes. Old at the time, she did not send me for a colonoscopy. At each visit I complained of constipation and she told me it was irritable bowel syndrome. When she finally sent me for an ultrasound, I suspect she never took the time to check the results or share them with me, but she did refer me for a colonoscopy. By then I was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer. I am sure that had she referred me sooner, my ordeal could have been avoided. I sent her a letter asking her not to do this to another patient, but to refer them and take their symptoms seriously and have some regard for their opinion. She never responded nor did she ever inquire as to my health even though she had been my doctor for several years. She is a cold hearted doctor, whom I have no respect for. I wonder if she has any regrets for her treatment of at least this patient.
