Dr. Marcon is excellent at her job. She keeps a really a busy office and her staff can often be unfriendly, but once you get to her, you know you're getting the best. Be prepared to wait in the waiting room for a while though.

I totally agree with Diane Côté's comment about trying to take an appointment. Every time I try to do so, it is an exasperating challenge trying to get through to the doctor's office as the line is CONSTANTLY busy. When it is not, there is some incomplete answering machine message from her assistant explaining to call back during specific hours, not even allowing for patients to leave their coordinates. I have been trying to get in touch with someone for over a week now and have decided to go to the office in person to take an appointment! I cannot believe this day and age, a Doctor cannot afford to have a second phone line or even voice mail in order to conduct their practice in a professional manner. This service is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I also agree with Anna's comment about getting the feeling she is more interested in selling products/services as opposed to providing quality healthcare. When asked if I have any questions/concerns, she seems very pressed for time, making me feel uncomfortable and unappreciated and I have been going to Dr. Marcon for over 15 years. If the opportunity arises, as difficult as it may be now, to find another Doctor, I will most probably do so.

I have been going to Dr. Marcon for approximately 6 years now, but I get the feeling she is more interested in selling products/services as opposed to providing quality healthcare. Nevertheless, I have not encountered any 'serious' problem with her as of yet. However, her assistant/secretary at the front desk is a total nightmare and has no respect for any of the doctor's clients. She has hung up on me several times if she does not feel like dealing with the situation. Although I have never made an official complaint to the doctor, I feel as though everyone should be prepared to deal with her secretary. My advice to her: if you don't like your job, quit.
