Hi there. Lizanne has been feeding my mom's Ativan addiction. She gave her an 80 dose supply of 2mg Ativan. This is outrageous and harmful. My mom has an addictive personality and has a history of abusing this medication. I've had my mom hospitalized for a week here in Vancouver and the doctors couldn't believe the benzo doses including Ativan prescribed to my mom. She is pickled beyond belief, falling down. Doing bizarre things like falling asleep in weird positions and you'll find towels in the fridge or doors open. There's more. But I care not to comment. Now, my mom is a new patient of Lizanne's so I can't fault her for my mom's passed drug abuse. But I can fault her for over prescribing her these benzos. What is she thinking? Is she trying to kill her? My mom fell down the stairs and severely hurt her back while on Ativan. It has to be used in the utmost extreme cases. Not when an addict comes in and asks for it. So stay away from Lizanne and I'll be calling for a review of her practice. This is ridiculous. There is no difference between Lizanne and a drug pusher in my eyes.

Uncaring, unhelpful, disinterested in reason for visit. Didn't even take my blood pressure. Just said to make more appointments. Then she goes away for a month at a time. Gives impression she doesn't really give a hang at all. Interesting I just read the other review…."If she truly cared" in other words , "uncaring". That says it all. She's what you'd call an ignorant person. One without any regard for those seeking her care; not having any conscience to administer proper care or follow through. Disregard.

Patient was not informed of test results. Ultra sound performed on January 5, 2012, found out results from another Dr on October 14, 2014. Results were a 3 inch mass on the left ovary. I would like an answer from Dr Venter as to why there was no contact made? The ultrasound was requisitioned by her, the results have her name on them, but she did not contact anyone about them. I will not accept that she was an emergency room Dr and that the Family Dr should have been seen for the results. If she truely cared about what she does or the people she sees, she would have reached out!
