Dr. Hussey put me on a dosage that went beyond what I could handle, which was administered by manipulating a guardian of mine to allow this to happen. I experienced severe mental health symptoms with the dosage being this high. The worst being: Induced psychosis, suicide attempts, bouts of anger. All of these symptoms went beyond the initial natural mental state I came in with. It did not matter if I told her this; in her subjective perspective, I was worse than I really was and it didn't matter to her if I let her know it affected me this way. I was told by a pharmacist and other doctors in post this dose went beyond what it should've been. She also used one-on-one moments to berate me that went beyond what's acceptable in a psychiatric practice, spilling private (harmless) personal moments I had told her not to share. Both of those things could be detrimental to anyone experiencing mental health troubles. My guardian and I later discovered she attempted to pit us both against each other. Children deserve to be listened to and shouldn't be treated this way. My experience was traumatizing and affected my trust in doctors for years. Fortunately, my mental health has been absolutely controllable since then. I hope for anyone else seeking help to be given appropriate treatment - Do not be afraid to see other doctors.

She was very unhelpful and self-righteous. Horrible dr. Had the nerve to say that our son’s behavioural problems where due to us not having any boundaries or guidelines when he was growing up. He was clearly suffering from extreme mental health issues. We were worried sick because of his severe medical mental diagnosis and she had the nerve to say that it was basically all our fault. Very cruel and self-righteous thing to say.
