Dr. Kurup was rude, arrogant and unhelpful. She accused me of refusing treatment because I am not open to medication - I don't believe meds are necessary or helpful in treating personality disorders. I told Dr. Kurup that I had been diagnosed with a personality disorder by two different psychiatrists; she did not ask me any questions relating to that disorder and then referred me to a social worker who not only does not treat personality disorders, but claimed that I did not have one. Terrible experience, I do not recommend this doctor.

She was argumentative, belittling and condensending. Not appropriate, especially when treating patients that are struggling with mental illness.
