The doctor was excellent. Sher was thorough and spent the time to explain it all as well as the options.

Finding Dr Williams was a breath of fresh air. In 2025 we are being bombarded with complaints from some about our health care system. But my family physician (who is in a different city!) got me into her clinic in Ottawa for a colonoscopy and medical assessment of an external hemorrhoid issue within a couple of weeks of the referral. The nurses at the clinic are excellent and the colonoscopy procedure was "seamless'. Although the clinic is like a "factory' in that all day the surgeons are doing patient after patient procedure in the medical equivalent of a production line, you are not "faceless" and Dr. Williams took more than enough time to explain to me what was intended, and she showed me my colon on a screen at the end of the procedure and discussed with me her findings, plus afterwards we discussed the treatment options for the hemmy which may be resolvable without surgery. Nurses are with you pretty much 100% of the time from start to finish, they explain everything well and take good care of you. I was in and out in about 2 hrs. And I have nothing but good thoughts for all that occurred. And there is no doubt Dr. Williams knows her stuff. Other information on the internet discusses her many credentials and accomplishments but the experience I had validates for me that she is also simply a very fine physician, as is her team.
