As a child, I've always had fears when it comes to being in contact with a needle or any sort of sharp object piercing through my skin. My mom would usually bring me to Dr. Luey due to this whilst other students do it in a massive gym or something, I suppose. I tend to move too much to a point where I've been told that the needle will break at least 90% of the time as medical professionals would attempt to give me my immunizations that were required. I overcame it somehow when I started visiting Dr. Luey at a very young age. I still panic horribly but it wasn't to the point where I'd need people to hold me down during that process. Dr. Luey has eased it down a lot compared to then. She was a doctor that I've placed my trust upon since I was very young. She would keep secrets for me should I request for her not to say it to my mom even if I was a minor and she's saved my life countless times because of the idiotic things I've done in the past. I am very upset that my childhood family doctor is gone but I'd like to thank you for watching out for me throughout my childhood and I will never forget the things you've done to save my life as a child. I would not have lived past the age of 19 if not for you, Dr. Luey. Thank you for everything. MY
