Went to emerg. at Royal Victoria on 2015-02-28 for severe chest pain, problems breathing and not able to eat very much . After going through x-rays, EKG and blood test was diagnosed with acid reflux disease or maybe ulcer by Dr. Kirsten Johnson and was prescribed 40mg of Pantoloc and sent home. Pain still persisted for 2 weeks and return to emerg. at RVH described symptoms to new doctor. His response "you don't have acid reflux or ulcer from your symptoms! I'm sending you for x-ray to confirm what I believe is the problem". He then confirmed that I had Pericarditis and admitted me to remove around 1.5l of fluid from around my heart the next day. I think Kirsten Johnson should continue her Humanitarian work and not practice emergency medicine at RVH.
