I have been taking strong medications, trying to find the levels that would help after my spine surgery. I found this very frustrating as I had not had a pain free day in 23 years. I understood my condition and treatment but always felt isolated, frustrated and started losing hope of getting back my quality of life. Dr. Efala's interventional treatment program was beyond what I had hoped!! I have had the joy of a pain free day on more than one occasion. I am able to do more for myself and able to start going out with friends for the first time in 12 years. Dr. Efala is absolutely wonderful. He cares and takes the time to explain my condition more than I ever thought possible. He is extremely knowledgeable and able to give more details specific to me. Absolutely wonderful!!

I have tried many pain clinics before and even used mind, body, and spirit courses but they didn't give me a lot of pain relief. When I first attended Dr. Efala's clinic he told me the expectations of my treatment and was very compassionate and diligent. I already knew a lot about my condition but Dr. Efala helped me understand why some treatments worked and some didn't. The nerve blocks he uses do provide me with pain relief and I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone who is in a similar situation.

I tried Yoga, hydrotherapy, compression exercises, cold laser therapy, Lyrica and Aleve medication for pain relief. But nothing seemed to work. When I first came to Dr. Efala with my condition he was very informative and gave me different options for treatments. He answered the many questions I had to the fullest extent. The nerve blocks are definitely a step forward to my goal of a pain free life and enjoying my regular activity. The best quality of Dr. Efala is that he is open and very honest. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
