Although this doctor was nice enough, he came into the appointment I had with him with an assistant who was holding a prescription that he had already made out. He had never seen me before, took no history (esp. a complete assessment of what I had already been prescribed along with OTC products I had tried over the last year with an incredibly sore and distracting skin condition) and clearly adopted the view that he one size fits all (a Dr. ??? trained in sciences taking that view is astounding) He obviously had no time for me and should not take referrals he is not interested in unless of course his interest is in his bank acct, I guess. He gave me very poor and/or incomplete information. He was in a rush. I waited 5 months to see him for that, he did not do what the Family Practice Dr. asked and produced a report to him that I read and can say was missing the mark on truth. It irritates me that AHS would be billed for that appt. Had he taken the time to listen he would have known the 'script was NOT going to do anything as all the other similar stuff did not; I needed better/fuller advice and direction. PLUS I experienced side effects from the meds prescribed that were of serious concern, so much so that I now am scheduled to see another specialist promptly to deal with investigating those effects. Two thumbs down. :( I would have preferred a guy with bad bedside manner but who at least earned the $$ AHS will have paid. . . . I should really be calling AHS and the possibly the College of Physicians and Surgeons just so there is a record.
