I was a patient at St. Paul's in 2018 after orthopedic surgery. I'd only seen my surgeon once but the hospital was attempting to discharge me. On a weekend I requested to see the doctor on call. Dr. Strothers came and when I requested an x-ray, he mocked me saying results wouldn't appear on an x-ray. I politely informed him VGH had done multiple x-rays to look at my tendons. He replied that I must be the only person the world who had results shown on an x-ray. I asked him in no polite terms to get out of my room. A nurse inquired about whether my questions were answered and I told her I was unhappy. She quickly found another physician. This gentleman was familiar with my surgeon at VGH and told me Dr. Strothers was out of line. Avoid him like coronavirus

Very hostile and inconsiderate, never listens to your concerns, lacks bedside manners, rude and condescending. Won't recommend this Dr. at all!
