Always on time, asks pertinent questions. Tells it like it is...fantastic! A great doctor that is able to show her human side. Nice sense of humour too!

When I first started seeing Dr. Katayoon Moghaddam-Abrishami, at the Halton Family Medical Center I was suffering from severe lower back pain which turned chronic. Then I started having severe rib pain with turned chronic also. Then I had extreme acid reflux, anemia, gas, osteopenia and numerous urinary tract infections. Near the end of 3 years of suffering through these problems I developed arthritis pain in my knees. It got so bad that I became bedridden. Over those years Dr. Moghaddam Abrishami did have many tests done on me...like an ultrasound, bone scan and an MRI. Nothing showed up on these tests. So, when she could not figure out what was wrong with me, she proceeded to convince me that I hypochondriac. I also had tried to show her my two infected two nails (which was not a problem in my head) but she refused to look at them. She said I don’t look at feet. The infection got so bad that I ended up having to have both of my nails on both big toes remove TWICE due to infection. At the urging of my husband I stopped seeing Dr. Katayoon Moghaddam-Abrishami and I got a new doctor. Not too long after seeing him, I had malnutrition my weight dropped down to 96 pounds. My new doctor order a simple blood test for celiac disease. It turned out that was my problem. Over the next 6 months all my health problems that I had been suffering for over 3 years went away. I consider Dr. Katayoon Moghaddam-Abrishami to be totally incompetent. If I had not gone to see another doctor I would have died. She caused me many years of suffering when all she needs to do was order a simple blood test. Any doctor that tries to convince you that you are a hypochondriac because they can’t figure out what is wrong with you is very dangerous. If you have any serious medical problems do not see her.
