Dr. Ashe operated on me on April 2/2008 at St. Mary's. I had an aortic aneyorsim and defective heart valve. After having a few CT scans he ordered one more before the surgery. My wife was very scared and upset not understanding why he needed another scan. Dr. Ashe gave me his direct phone number and said my wife could call him personally and he would explain why he needed the scan as well as answer any questions she may have. Not only was Dr. Ashe an excellent doctor professionally but also as a compassionate human being. I owe him my life.

Aortic valve replacement 05/31 /17 and still ticking. Only saw Dr Ashe twice , presurgery clinic and briefly outside the OR before being wheeled in. I may have seen him come into the OR but things where not clear and I thought it may have been ELVIS . Dr Ashe has a great team and I just refer to him as a Rock Star . Hopefully I won't need to see him again . Things are good !
