I was operated at 14 years old for scoliosis and had a metal put in my back. as the years went by the metal started moving since the first doctor didn't do a good job and this created a bump on my back which caused a serious infection. i was referred to Dr Karl Fournier an orthepedist and he confirmed to me that i can only be operated in 8 months and that this did not cause any danger. I was in too much pain (by the way it's at 30 yrs old that all of this happened which is my current age), i decided to go to the jewish hospital. They operated me the next day discovering that the metal needed to be taken out immediatly since it was rubbing on my back and causing scars and that i was diagnosed with the second worst infection in the world. Finally after 10 days in the hospital, i returned home and am now on antibiotics through a pik line.......for at least 3 weeks now. Therefore i decided to return to pay a visit to Dr Karl Fournier and explain all of this to him....before i did i asked him again is there any danger to being operated in 8 months or less he confirmed no......which is completely false for the doctors at the jewish hospital confirmed that if i had waited any longer i would have been completely paralyzed. Dr karl fournier showed no compassion and didn't want to hear a word i said.....before i left though, he finally admitted he made a mistake in my case.....but this mistake could have made me paralyzed.....i also checked the internet and he has numerous bad reviews.....even if you have an appointment he makes you wait for at least one hour.... I HAD A SURGERY IN MY BACK S1-L5 THIS MAN HELP TO RECOVERED MY LIFE OR MY LIFE QUALITY I WON'T HESITATE TO RECOMMANDED THIS DOCTOR, NO FEAR AT ALL

Surgery for L5-S1... Very nice and friendly, always takes time to go around the issue and explain the involvement and details of his actions. Makes you feel you're part of the decisions/solutions. Definitely recommend him.
