I was referred to Dr. Pont regarding autoimmune issues. She went through my test results with me clearly explaining what they meant. She was compassionate and friendly throughout the appointment.

After having been to a considerable number of specialists in the lower mainland who had no luck in diagnosing my illness, my family doctor referred me to Dr. Karen Pont. She was able to recognize the symptoms of my sickness and make a diagnosis after being with her for only a few hours. Dr. Karen Pont is an exceptional specialist. Once the medications were prescribed they immediately took effect and I was pain free the next day - the first time in four months and have not been on pain killer medication since. I believe that Dr. Pont is a "miracle worker" - very friendly and caring, knowledgeable, and easily able to communicate in layman's terms the nature of my illness. We should feel lucky in the East Kootenays to have a professional like Dr. Pont serving our communities.
