I experienced difficulty with my surgical hernia incision healing in 2013. Dr. Wolinska packed and dressed my wound while explaining the problems to me. She arranged for me to visit the Wound Healing Clinic at NYGH where I received care using the new Negative Pressure Wound Pico Therapy System. This system is also safely used in my home if it is provided. Dr. Wolinska also informed Comm. Care Access Toronto that I needed a nurse to come in to assist me. Thanks to Dr. Wolinska I sincerely appreciate the benefits of the Pico System while I wait to hear if Comm. Care Access will supply more after I have used it on two occasions.

Dr. Wolinska has an excellent bedside manner. Extremely helpful and thorough. Always greats you with a smile, and truly cares about her patients, with no ego.

After having three surgeries on my foot by another surgeon, I came to Dr. Wolinska and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. She was very thorough and made sure we knew everything that was being done. I am currently recovering and am pleased with the results so far.

we have spent 3 months at the hospital with my son after a very unpleasant sequence of events that led to 5 hours surgery. Dr. Wolinska was in charge and I can say not just a great doctor but a great leader and a great person. To finds these 3 qualities in one person is not ordinary hence me taking the time to write this down. Dr. Wolinska has a great passion to what she does and it shows, great smile, attitude , will to spend the time , explain and engage in conversations. As a doctor from my first encounter with her and the way she described the sequence of events that led a 2 hours surgery to become 5 with no choice , she presented decisiveness, knowledge and leadership. I can go on and on but the bottom line , SKH is lucky to have her and I wish her a great success moving forward , it will benefit countless kids.
