I have been seeing Dr. Cheung for almost 2 years due to ulcerative colitis. He is very conscientious in monitoring my condition and trying different treatments. I am grateful that he is willing to maintain contact by phone rather than requiring me to make the long trip to New Westminster for consultation.

Needs to give patients faster referral dates.. not 3 months long. Not sure if its a canadian thing or not but patients would benefit from faster appointments or you should be able to reject a referral and send it to someone who is availabe faster.

Justin has been amazing. I spent a month in RCH with a diagnosis of Ulcerative Colitis. I saw Justin and his team in Hospital and Justin became my specialist after discharge. It took 5 months for what would be deemed baseline. Justin is very knowledgable and I always look forward to seeing him. He not only looked at medicinal solutions. Lifestyle and food alternatives were also reviewed and suggested. Most importantly, I feel safe with Justin which was so important at a time when I had lost my job, my health, my sanity, my abilty to parent my 5 year old. Having a health practicioner that makes you feel heard and safe is of utmost inportance. I would highly recommend Dr Justin Cheung.
