I was seen by Dr. Distefano in the emergency department under very stressfull circumstances. He was very efficient in his treatment and very caring. He followed through on his promise to help me out of this situation. I am an employee of the hospital and did not know him before being admitted to E.R. He went way above and beyond the duty of an E.R. Doctor to get me out of a dangerous situation for me. I owe a great deal of gratitude to him for making my life and work enviroment safer and enjoyable again for me. Many other people have had the same positive experience witH this wonderfully E.R. Doctoras I have. Thank you foT The opportUnitY to let you know the E.R. Is in such good hands.

I was treated by Dr. Distefano in the E.R. During a difficult time working in the hospital. He was very caring and concerned for my well being. He did extended follow up on my situation and was the person who went to bat for me and righted the wrong that I went through. I have spoken to many others who have been treated by Dr. Disefano and they all praise his dedication and respect for patient and profesisional approach to each individual situation. We are fortunate,to,have him on staff at our hospital.

I had the privilege of being treated by Dr. Matt Distefano in the emergency department one evening. He was very understanding and concerned for my health. It was as usual a busy evening but he took the time to check in on me to see how I was. He mentioned he would follow through on my situation as he felt it needed to be dealt with. I am a skeptic at best so although I thought it was very nice of him tO say so I pretty much thought when I walked out the door that was it and I would never see him again. Much to my surprise we spoke and he had just as he said he would went to great lengths to right what he said should never have happened .I feel Dr. Distefano went way beyond the duties of an E. R. To help me. I will always appreciate his willingness to right the situation.,I was very frightened for my health as was my family. They to appreciate his thoughtfulness and caring. We are very lucky to have such a professional and thoughtful Doctor in our E. R.

I was very ill and had been for some time due to a scheduling situation at this very same hospital. Dr. Distefano was very caring and checked in on me several times. He came through for me with a promise to do his best to help me through it. I truly believe he went above and beyond an E.R. Doctors duties. A heartfelt thank you goes out to him and the nurses of the E.R. That is definatly the most difficult area to work in. I know. Been there done that.

This man almost killed me. I went to the emergency room with severe abdominal pain and what I was sure was an appendicitis. After 5 hours of waiting, the whole while in excruciating pain, I was told I had a bladder infection. The very next day, as I struggled to breath, I returned to the ER where a competent doctor agreed with me. I had perforated appendix that was now septic and poisoning my internal organs. I would have died had I not returned to the hospital me seen a doctor with more interest in the truth.
