Dr. Poirier was quiet rude with my fiance and I. He constantly made faces when we would ask questions. He was more in a hurry to get us out of the ER then to help solve what was going on. He also dismissed blood work results. If he really doesn't want to help people then he really should retire.

My dad took my sister to the Emergency department and he told her "you are not dying so I am not going to send you for a Ultrasound" I was pretty upset with him after that my sister told that. Needs to be more professional.

Two weeks ago I went to see Dr. Poirier as I was injured at work. He was extremely inconsiderate towarss myself as well as my mother who accompanied me. First of all, I had gotten to the hospital at 8 pm, which knowing hospital wait times are long I expected to be there for a few hours. Once 3 am rolled around I finally so a doctor. As I had been kicked in the head by a client while at work I was crying because my head hurt so much and as I have had two concussions in the past. The first thing doctor Poirier said to was normal questions like "why are you here, where does it hurt, where did they kick you" i had replied with "in the right eye". Dr. Poirier then said "so why is your whole face red then" after this Conversation I overheard him tell the nurse that he thought I was just lying and that I actually was drunk and got into a fight. This normally wouldn't bother me but he continued to tell me that I should just get a new job if I can't "handle" the work. I left with no answers to my situation other than I knew I had a concussion, when I returned to my home I ended up making an appointment with my family doctor as he was so very rude.
