I've seen Dr. Cinannni a few times on a walk in basis and have asked the receptionist to let me know the days that he is working. He is very compassionate and genuine and takes time to explain the condition and treatment. This reassured me during a very stressful moment of my life.

I went to the UOttawa Walk-in clinic and Dr. Cinanni was my walk-in doctor. His bedside manners are quite terrible. I feel that he has a resentment towards student patients. I often felt uncomfortable to explain my symptoms. He was terribly dismissive, inattentive and really condescending. For example, I was asking whether there might be better birth control to target my specific needs and he said something along the lines of "why would you bother changing your birth control if the one you used before didn't cause any problems? It doesn't make sense". Really Dr. Cinanni - was it necessary to insult my intelligence by saying it doesn't make sense? This is why I try my hardest to stick with my family doctor who is kind and attentive while still maintaining an air of professionalism and astuteness. Next time I go to the walk-in clinic (when in dire straits) I will specifically request to NOT see him even if I have to wait an extra hour.
