Doctor Chouinard at St. Vincent Hospital went out of his way to make my mother comfortable in her final days and also saw me,, her daughter, melting down with the hospital not regarding my requests. It was not his job to intervene with administration to deal with getting my mother into a better room for her final days, but he did it nonetheless.... seeing it as a medical necessity. I would wrap my arms around his neck if I saw him again. I was pulling my hair out and he heard me and made things happen. He is a true angel. Not only does this man have a great sense of humour, but he made our experience at St. Vincent a positive one, plus he made her final few days comfortable..Thank you, kind sir.
