My daughter has type 1 diabetes and was referred specifically to Dr. Dawrant. He is always patient with questions and tries to be of service. He doesn't force his opinions but truly wants to help the patient achieve the best possible outcome.

We see him for diabetes, but I gather he sees a lot of other hormone conditions too. Our daughter is doing well on a special insulin pump and he figured out she had a thyroid problem too. Always making jokes and makes our regular visits fun. He works with a great nurse and dietician and they are really good.

Our 6 year old daughter has diabetes which requires insulin injections several times a day. Dr. Dawrant met us when we were diagnosed and had to travel to Calgary. Really nice man. Took lots of time to answer questions and drew diagrams explaining how the insulins work. Since then the sugars have been harder to control but he has been very supportive in trying to figure out why and improve them. Definitely knows what he is doing.

My daughter saw Dr. Dawrant because she developed a mass that produced huge amounts of puberty hormones. He knew exactly what it was within minutes of meeting us in the Emergency room. She needed some special drugs and surgery but she is doing great. Great nurses on his team. Always trying to help.
