After having experienced several psychiatrists and in patient sojourns during attempts to mitigate issues arising from complex physical health issues I found Dr.Tuttle to be extremely understanding and helpful. He really understood the impact of complicated chronic health issues diagnosed in youth upon my life progression. He did not try to minimize the issues or blame me for some of my less than helpful behaviors while trying to deal with a multitude of health and life issues I did not want. He had a pleasant, positive conversational manner of speaking to me and treated me with dignity and respect. He was very patient and ensured everything necessary was done to get me out of hospital without railroading me and ensuring I had the connections to resources to help me manage on my own.Knowledgeable and thorough I highly recommend Dr.Tuttle. He does call a spade a spade and expects you to pull your weight not simply as a patient but as an integral member of your own care team. If you are okay with that approach and willing to accept his coaching to do so you should have a great experience. I particularly recommend Dr.Tuttle for anyone suffering with dual diagnoses of chronic illness and concurrent or resultant depression and anxiety.
