One year ago on labor day I was admitted to Met.hospital after my 1st chemo treatment after a lung cancer operation. Fortunately for me Dr. Mathews was on duty. I was scared in pain and unsure of what was happening. Dr, Mathews came in and reassured me thatI was okay & they had got the cancer. The chemo wasn’t a life or death treatment. He was calm & reassured me again. I will never forget his helping me get thru that most horrific ordeal . This past July I got the all clear. I will never forget you and the hope you gave me. THANK YOU .
