I have severe social anxiety, depression, agoraphobia and an eating disorder. Was told by this so called Dr. to basically get over it, stop acting like a child and deal with it on my own. I am unable to attend outpatient programs due to the agoraphobia and severe anxiety. When even thinking of going outside my anxiety is so bad I literally vomit from it. I cannot eat and I am extremely underweight. I was asking to be put into a treatment facility so that I could receive some full time care and therapy as I am tired of living like a prisoner in my own body. All I was told was that I have to learn to deal with this on my own. How can someone that cannot leave the house deal with something on their own with no tools to utilize! Terrible advice, if that's what you call it? I may be filing a formal complaint to the College of Physicians regarding this visit.

Linda

A positive experience despite his "tough love" approach. He drills down to the issues quickly and leaves you with something helpful to think about. I appreciated the direction he offered.
