no empathy, uses the phrase " it is what it is" way too many times; would not and could not answer questions based on my case - so glad this was just an assessment as this guy is a tool

I've seen Dr. Guthrie both as an inpatient and outpatient and he is the best doctor I've ever had. He is always honest and truthful, and doesn't sugar-coat things, which I appreciate. He is very knowledgeable and goes out of his way to help, including bringing in other health professionals when something comes up that is out of his specialty. No complaints here; I'd recommend him to anyone, so long as they are not looking to be coddled!
