I saw Dr Kua as a 12 year old for 2 years. Much of our sessions were spent in silence with him staring at me. It was one of the most traumatizing experiences of my life. He made no effort to engage me and would become visibly upset often. I was a young kid and didn't know why ideas there. He made no effort to help me understand or feel comfortable at anytime over the 2 years I spent there. Each week was a frightening ordeal I had to try get through. PLEASE be warned, this Dr is not emotionally sound and should not be practicing any sort of counselling or therapy.

I do not recommend Dr Kua for adults or children. I sent my son to him and wish I hadn’t. He treated me as if I was hiding something. Basically he misdiagnosed my son and myself and allowed us to continue with improper treatment. It was overall a bad experience.

PLEASE be warned, Jimmy Kua ie a dangerous individual to entrust with children. He is insensitive and cold and does not show any empathy for clients. My son saw him for over a year and came out with tremendous anxiety that required additional therapy for 2 years from a different (empathetic) therapist who helped undo the emotional damage Jimmy Kua did. Please do not trust this man with your child. I don't want anyone to go through what my son experienced as a child.

I was misdiagnosed for years, he is a bully and I wish I had left him years earlier.
