Fast. Limited time but very knowledgeable and straightforward.

He was extremely rude to me. I completely understand that he is busy and was probably there for a long time but that is no excuse to make an 18 year old cry.

My elderly Father saw Dr. Hendry in Peach Arch Hospital's emergency department. Dr. Hendry swept in, stood by my father's bedside, and yelled at him. He yelled out very loudly, "why are you here?", despite my father's obvious medical distress (he was in septic shock). He then refused to speak to family members, cutting them off. He did offer to the room in general "he's got cancer, what do you expect?", although he had not seen my dad's test results. He yelled at my dad that "I guarantee, if I have to resuscitate you, I will break every one of you ribs. And, even if you want to be resuscitated, it's my decision". We all stood there in shock at his aggressive demeanor. As Dr. Hendry was ranting, the nurse popped her head in as said something like, "he is in sepsis". Dr. Hendry said, "he's in septic shock", he indicated my father was dying, and walked out with no conversation. My father recovered, and is doing well, despite Dr. Hendry's "treatment". He's a callous man. Probably intelligent, but needlessly cruel.

Dismissive, condescending and oh so wrong in his diagnosis. He should consider a new line of work.
