Dr. Ivey is a very kind and caring individual who has helped me thru some very touch times in my life and I credit him for saving my life more than once. Dr. Ivey has taught me about Faith and God and has allowed me to express my viewpoints even tho I think he may not always agree to me. He always lets me speak in my terms, no matter how vulgar or horrid they may be. He always lets me be me and has never told me that what I say is cannot be right or doubt me in anyway. Dr. Ivey has always had time to tell me about treatments or medications, eventho he may have already have told me that before. Dr. Ivey is always very professional and, in the 30 years that I have seen, he has never crossed the line. He is a great friend in that I have known him 30 years & I have told him my life stories & we trade pleasantries the way you would for a person who has had such an impact on one's life. I have seen many, many psychiatrists, social workers, mental workers, and care givers and none of them hold a candle to Dr. Ivey.
