Dr. De Simon is a gem. He has been caring for our family for over 18 years now. Although he sees many people, in a clinic atmosphere, he always remembers our family members. He takes the time to get the diagnosis right, but will defer to a specialist when unsure (although he will always follow up with a personal phone call to see how things went with the specialist). The only negative that I have heard is that he is demanding of the staff at the clinic, however, it has never affected the medical care received. I think the staff at the medical clinic are very friendly and efficient!

Dr. De Simon has been my family doctor for the last 20 years. He is a very helpful person, good listener and likes to dig until he gets to the bottom of things. He has called me home when concerned about blood results, or to schedule an appointment. When in doubt about something he will readily refer you to a specialist. The appointments are never rushed which leads to his only weakness of always running a little late.

I can’t fathom a better doctor particularly not in Quebec - he’s brilliant, non-judgemental, and super supportive. And he makes time for you. I see him via CLSC Homecare and whenever I leave a message he gets back to me by phone or just comes to my bedside usually within a few hours even when he’s busy. I’ve been very ill most of my life and I have an unrelated major disability so I’ve spent 45+ years seeing the best and worst both the Canadian and US health care systems have to offer and in all that time, even when paying top dollar for private care, never have I met a more knowledgeable doctor and one devoid of pretension. He a solid diagnostician particularly as his only equipment is that which fits in an old-school doctor’s bag - he’s a problem-solver and creative in his approach to seemingly intractable problems. In the 6 or so months I’ve been under his care I’ve seen the first measurable improvement in all areas of my health both physical and even mental. After over 2 years in bed I’m getting out again. I can’t rave enough, I just wish he could clone himself so everyone could share the good fortune of being his patient.
