One of the most wonderful doctors I have ever met. Kind hearted, genuine and kind. She has been a blessing in a horrific overall experience. I fully recommend her.

I went to emerg after experiencing an anxiety attack and passing out, and got a referral to see Dr. Gilbert 3 days later. She was very thorough and generally concerned about the reasons behind my anxiety (a lot of overwhelming stuff going on in life right now). I was placed on short term meds to deal with current issues and was explained the side effects and risks involved with said medication (that it wasn't to be taken more than a few weeks as you can become reliant on them), as well as another appointment to check up on progress. I didn't feel like this doctor just pushed drugs and shooed me away like I've experienced with so many other doctors before.. I left feeling assured I recieved good care and wasn't as worried about having another attack again. One thing that is dissapointing was that she couldn't refer me to a psychiatrist/psychologist because I was from Mississauga, and she was from an Oakville hospital, but that's the healthcare system and not her fault whatsoever.
