August 3rd 2020. Prior to my quadruple bypass, on Friday 8 am, August 8, 2008, outside of the OR, Dr. Amir introduced himself as my Anesthesiologist. He asked whether he pronounced my name correctly, my response, "given it's the opening day of the Beijing Olympics, I score it 10 out of ten". I'm grateful for Dr. Amir's calmness, sense of humour and confidence which infected me, resulting in my positive attitude toward the surgery. Thank you.
