I have had Dr. Bibr as my psychiatrist since August 1995 - he was the emergancy doctor. I am Bipolar I had had 7 hospitalizations in my lifetime and he managed to keep me out of the hospital until june 2000 when we had spent a year experimenting on other medications so I could stop taking lithium. After 1 year of trying I went into the hospital for 4 weeks to examine me and find the right medication and dose to stabilize me. That was 11 years ago -- I have not had a hospitalization -- my mood is good and I am taking 2 medications that do not have side affects. He is a very nice man and open to new ideas. He is always involved with the cutting edge of psychiatry.
