Dr. Gregory Soon-Shiong did spinal surgery on me in 1999 and he is a "God" to me. He gave me my life back by doing surgery on my spine. He definately made me feel very confident in him and I had an excellent experience all around with my surgery. From my 1st visit to his office to my last follow up visit I was very satisfied and happy with my results. Is very intelligent and knows what he is doing. What a great caring surgeon he is ! I would not hesitate at all to have any surgery performed on me by Dr. Gregory Soon-Shiong.

I am a 58 year old male. On September, 28, 2012 Dr.Soon-Shiong, preformed decompression a back surgery @ York Central Hospital. Thank You DR.Gregory Soon-Shiong finally after two (2) years I can walk again with no pain no numbness in my legs, and is very easy to get up from my chair. Only took three (3) weeks and a 4'' cut for me to get better, he has done a wonderful job and saved my legs, And yes back to work after the three (3) weeks to my normal job. I was in and out of the hospital on the same day, and yes I was able to walk on my own, Now I am pain free I can run, claiming, and walk for miles, and now I can precede with all my out doors activities. AND YES I RECOMMEND DR Soon-Shiong for your back. Thank You

The first time I met him I have a fall at work. Screwed by WSIB but who isn't. A few delays because of SARS. After the surgery I went back to work with no more pain and full movement. The second time was after a car accident.I was slowly losing the use of my left leg.But this time it was more involved. When I woke up he was in my room.I said My left leg hurts, but I can feel it now.He smiled and said thats good to hear. Now everyday I can get up and walk ,sometimes I get pain and have to move slow. He is right to the point and honest. Some people may not like that, but its good to hear the truth from day one.

I had Cauda Equina syndrome. I was shuffled from a neurologist to a neurosurgeon and then back to nobody by our medical system. It took me over 2-1/2 years to do the research on my own (internet, talking with fellow back problem sufferers). When I finally got to see Dr. Soon-Shiong, he recognized the serious nature of my condition. He operated on me doing an L4-L5 decompression/fusion operation immediately. He brought his staff in to the OR late on the Friday evening of the 2015 Labor Day weekend to "fix" me. Immediately, after the operation... all my symptoms were gone! I had no more neurogenic claudication, no more nerve pain in my feet, no more bladder and bowel incontinence. This wonderful doctor gave me my life back and I simply cannot thank him enough. Now 6 months later, I'm fully recovered, back to work, and I can walk as far I wish to walk again, and I've lost the "depends". Thank you.... kind doctor. I would recommend this gentleman very highly. Dr. Soon-Shiong's office staff can be a bit rude and at times they can present themselves as a bit uncaring... but Dr. Soon-Shiong is simply the best at what he does. I have a two other friends that were also patients of Dr. Soon-Shiong and I can say with certainty they are also doing well. The way I see it... nobody wants back surgery. However, if you have to get it done... I would definitely recommend getting it done by Dr. Soon-Shiong!

He is a businessman not a doctor, he doesn’t spend time, he doesn’t listen to you, he takes the private calls during the visits on his cell phone, he works for the insurance companies to ignore your illness, in the end, he refers you to his Physiotrape for making more money
