I saw Dr Sherwin Jan 2015 for pre-op. I had a nephrectomy 6 days later. Dr. Sherwin was concerned as my BP was 188/82. He not only phoned me at home, the lady who was listed as my POA, he phoned my family Dr. to get results of my BP for past 6 months. He even phoned me from his home at 8 p.m. to reassure me that I wasn't to worry about BP, that it could still be that high day of surgery & not to worry. He made 3phone calls before he got me at 8 p.m. How many Drs. are that caring?

I saw Dr. Sherwin as part of my hospital pre-op to have a Nephrectomy. He was concerned that my BP was high - he even phoned my family Dr. in Chatham to get a year's BP numbers. Then he phoned me at home in Chatham at 8 p.m. to reassure me not to worry that it probably would be a little high in 6 days when I had my surgery. In this day and age that is a very caring Dr. Thank you Dr. Sherwin.
