I'm extremely concerned that this type of doctor is allowed to practice. I had an appointment with him, and I could ascertain that this is the type of doctor who lacks empathy and he is not committed to the pillars of patient care. It does not surprise me when I read things about this doctor being egotistical, dismissive or simply seeing patients as a business. Most recently, I learned that a friend of mine has been seeing this doctor, and that he has been negligent in terms of investigating his symptoms, and now with the management of his care. He does not explain diagnosis properly, uses clinical language which is not accessible to those who do not have a medical background, he rushes and he does not answer questions properly. When dealing with life and death issues, this is unethical. I can't tell anyone if they should see this doctor, or continue having him as their GP, however, if he lacks empathy, is dismissive of them, doesn't take the time to explain things clearly, does not order tests to investigate symptoms, does not listen or treats you like a business, I would suggest you go elsewhere. To the doctor and his office if you are reading this: Get your practice together! Treat people with respect, care, and compassion. If you can't, why don't you change to the business side of medicine. It's more lucrative, and you could excel, as having traits of a personality disorder would be an asset in that side of medicine.
