Dr kimmons can come across as a bit uptight and inflexible at the beginning but he is just trying to get an idea of waht is going on in as objective a way as possible. after working with him my relationshi8p with my daughter has never been better. i honestly thought I would never get my little girl back. things are not perfect but Dr Kimmons has really helped. He even went on to advocate for my children as myself and has been quick to respond and make room for appointments whenever an emergency arises. I feel very fortunate to have been referred to him and my family had really benefited from his care.

Dr. Kimmons was very condescending- and not easy to converse with. He does not like to entertain questions and generally replies with "I am an expert".

Dr. Kimmons' treatment is spot-on. He doesn't come across very friendly but he warms up a bit and sticks to the task of assisting the parents. Come expecting to be helped and be open to his ideas and method. It worked for us and we learned a lot. His method wasn't what we expected but when you think about it afterwords, what he does makes sense; he's eliminated the power struggle or whatever the problem is, and you are able to then build back the structure of your relationship. the process takes time and you make the fastest progress if you have all parent/adult buy-in. He was fantastic with us. Just wish he worked out of the East end of the city.
