Dr. Frances W Edye works with WCB Manitoba. She has been known to abuse her power and authority to ingratiate herself and her position as an acting member of the Manitoba Mental Health Review Board with obsequious consultational decisions concerning the mental health status of WCB clients without using traditional , clinically acceptable means of diagnosis at her disposal. Done so in a manner that would never stand up to public scrutiny, the court of law, Canadian academy of psychiatry and the law guidelines, Manitoba government code of ethics/conflict of interest guidelines, the college of physicians and surgeons Manitoba or the insurance council of Manitoba. Her membership on the Mental health review board distorts and embellishes her proclivity concerning her crown agency participation within the WCB which creates undue influence in the adjudication process and undermines patient care and representation. She is afforded limitless resources both legal and otherwise provided by the government and her membership offers broad impunity for decisions made by her. She also censors any and all reviews of her medical conduct on RateMDS.

I found Dr Edye to act in a very professional manner when I met with her. She was friendly and courteous. She seemed to be very knowledgeable and competent. I definitely would recommend her to others who require treatment.
